Message from the Chair of the PTFA

Hello everyone,

Chair of the PTFA

Supporting the PTFA

School Lottery creates and runs lotteries for schools across the UK raising money through local communities to improve educational facilities and the school environment for thousands of pupils. It's a fantastic way to bring Parents, Carers, Teachers and the wider community together, in partnership with our school, and at the same time give something back. We hope to raise funds that can support and enrich the education of our children and continue to help the school in even more projects.
Join our School PTFA's Lottery!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PTFA?

PTFA stands for Parents, Teachers Federated Association.
Any parent or carer is automatically a member and welcome to help in any way they can.

What does the PTFA do?

We organise events throughout the year such as discos and non uniform days for the children, coffee mornings, the summer fayre, quiz nights and more. Our aim is to have fun and socialise while raising money for the academies!

How can I be involved?

The PTFA only exists with the support of parents and you can help in a number of ways. Anyone is welcome to attend meetings and have a say in what we do. Parents are also needed to help on stalls at discos, coffee mornings  etc. or to make posters, wrap tombola prizes, bake cakes, fold raffle tickets etc. There really is a job for everyone, no matter how much or little time you can spare!

Being a part of the PTFA is a great way to meet other parents and become involved with your child’s school.
For more information, please contact us via our Facebook page or the school office.
